Zirconium

Zirconium (chemical symbol Zr, atomic number 40) is a lustrous, strong, lightweight, and hypoallergenic metal known for its exceptional heat and corrosion resistance. Using a proprietary high-heat process, we form a hardened black oxide layer on the surface, creating the distinctive and permanent “Black Zirconium” or “Oil Slick” finish. Unlike coatings, this oxide layer is part of the metal itself—extremely durable, it won't rub off, fade, or tarnish over time.
